Mufti of Varna met with the Mayor of the Municipality

On March 19, 2018 the Mayor of the Municipality of Varna Ivan Portnih meet with the Regional Mufti of Varna Redzheb Redzheb. The Mufti was accompanied for the visit by lawyer S. Cholakov, expert at “Waqf” at Regional Mufti’s Office – Varna.

The meeting took place at the initiative of the Regional Mufti in order to improve and develop the relations between the two institutions. The Mayor Portnih expressed is great satisfaction with that meeting, as well as his willingness to support the initiatives of the Regional Mufti’s Office. After the proposed from the Regional Mufti joint projects the Mayor of the Municipality of Varna said that it will be a pleasure to him to participate in them.

The Regional Mufti Redzheb Redzheb thanked the host Portnih and his team for the very warm welcome and expressed his hope that the good relations between them will continue to be developed also in the future.
