The Regional Governor of Shumen visited the Regional Mufti’s Office in the city

The Regional Governor of Shumen Prof. Stefan Zhelev visited Regional Mufti’s Office – Shumen on March 16 this year (Friday). He was accompanied by his deputies Petko Sharenkov and Shirin Veli.

During the visit to the local mufti’s office the representatives of the local authorities met with the Regional Mufti of Shumen Mesut Mehmedov. The host Mehmedov informed he guests about the activities of the mufti’s office and about the current restauration works in the mosque “Sherif Halil Pasha” (Tombul mosque), and after the meeting all together visited the Muslim temple, which is being restored.
