Grand Mufti’s Office held the second for this year workshop for Muslim students

The second for 2018 workshop for students from the Muslim community in Bulgaria was held by Grand Mufti’s Office within the period March 16 – 18 in Sofia. This time it was aimed at girls and it was attended by students from universities in Plovdiv, Sofia and Blagoevgrad.

The topic of this workshop, like the previous one, organized by “Irshad” Department of the mufti’s office especially for students, was “Essence and basic concepts in seeking knowledge”. Some of the lecturers of the three-day event were Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi, the Deputy Grand Mufti Birali Birali and lecturers at the HII.

“Besides the lectures, included in the program, we had also prepared various entertaining programs for the participants, which we carried out in the evenings. They included screening of an instructive movie; debates between the students also took place, in which they performed very well. Emine Sechkina delivered a lecture on “Seeking knowledge from the cradle to the grave” and a discussion followed after that”.”, said for Grandmufti.bg on the occasion of the held workshop its leader Fatima Tsineva.

At the end of the workshop the girls shared their positive impressions and their satisfaction with the fact that they had participated in the three-day workshop, which opened for them new perspectives in seeking knowledge from Islamic point of view. They shared their desire and willingness to participate also in other such workshops in the future.
