POSITION OF THE MUSLIM DENOMINATION 

The Muslim Denomination in the Republic of Bulgaria expresses its concern about the held in Sofia Lukov March. This turned into a processionof hatred against the different religious and ethnic groups in the country.

The Muslim community in Bulgaria has always held the peace and the understanding between the different ethnic and religious groups and has stood against any kind of hatred, intolerance and hostile speech. The Muslim Denomination – Grand Mufti’s Office appeals the Bulgarian society, institutions, political parties and others to respect the high standards for human rights, moral values and democratic principles, which one modern society and a member-state of the European Union requires.
