Grand Mufti participated in a conference in Baku

The Grand Mufti of the Muslims in the Republic of Bulgaria participated in the closing conference for year 2017 announced as “Year of the Islamic solidarity”. The conference was carried out under the auspices of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and a host of the event was Sheikh ul Islam for the Caucasian Muslims Allahshükür Pashazade.

More than 150 people from about 40 countries participated in the conference. The conference sent a message to the world that Islam is a religion of peace. Among the participants there were representatives of all religious communities.

In his greeting address the Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi focused on the “religious brotherhood” on the Balkan Peninsula and greeted the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and Sheikh ul Islam for the Caucasian Muslims Allahshükür Pashazade for organizing the conference.
