Meeting with orphans in Regional Mufti’s Office – Aytos

On December 2, Regional Mufti’s Office – Aytos organized a meeting with the orphaned children from Aytos region who are supported by “Orphans” Fund. The program is a part of the national campaign ‘Orphans’ Week” of Social Department of Grand Mufti’s Office.

The meeting in the village of Shivarovo was attended by the children with their relatives. The host of the event, the Regional Mufti of Aytos Selyatin Muharrem welcomed all and the guests Birali Birali – Deputy Grand Mufti, and Bahri Izet – Head of “Social” Department talked to the children shared their problems and gave them gifts provided by different benefactors, who responded to the campaign.

Bahri Izet shared: “With some of the children we have managed to build friendly relations. We meet with them periodically, in different events organized by us. I think that they feel closeto us.”

The organizers think that all regional mufti’s offices have to organize such meetings with the orphans. Because trough these campaigns the society give a helping hand to the orphaned children, materially supports them. But the campaigns and the meetings also remind people that children besides material, need also moral support.
