Working meeting with the imams from Shumen region was held

A working meeting with the imams from the region was held on November 22, 2017 at Regional Mufti’s Office – Shumen.

The meeting began with a lecture delivered by Nazif Nazifov, guest-preacher at Regional Mufti’s Office – Targovishte. The lecture was “Helping and supporting the orphan”.

During the meeting were addressed several topics among which the campaign “Orphans’ Week”, the subscription campaign for “Muslims” magazine foe year 2018 and others.

The Regional Mufti of Shumen Mesut Mehmedov urged the imams to be more active during the Orphans’ Week and to acquaint the society with the upcoming campaign in support of orphans who are the weakest social group in the society and indeed deserve attention and care.

The meeting ended with a dua (supplication) made by the imam of the village of Srahilitsa Vezhdi Akshan.
