Regional Mufti’s Office – Ruse held a one-day workshop and a working meeting with imams from the region 

The Regional Mufti’s Office in Ruse held a working meeting and a one-day workshop with the imams from the region. They took place on 29^th of August, 2017 in the premises of the Secondary Religious School “Mirza Seit Pasha” in the Danube riparian city.

The meeting was opened with recitation of a part of the Holy Qur’an by the imam of the “Hadzhi Mehmed” mosque in Ruse Nedret Fikretov. All participants were welcomed by the Regional Mufti of the city of Ruse Yudzhel Hyusnyu.

The meeting began with the workshop part within which were delivered lectures related to Eid-al Adha and the qurban as ibadah (worshipping) by the Regional Mufti and by Adem Kalach.

After the end of the workshop was held the regular monthly meeting of the employees of the Regional Mufti’ Office. The agenda of the meeting included many and various topics. Among them were analysis of the held during the month of Ramadan campaign in support if the Islamic education. The imams discussed also the held during the three summer months of June, July and August summer Qur’an courses for children in the region of Ruse. There were also addressed topics related to the campaign “Share your qurban” of Grand Mufti’ Office.

During the meeting the imams from Regional Mufti’s Office – Ruse were informed about the award “Hodzhazade Mehmed Muhyiddin Efendi”, established by the Supreme Muslim Council for contribution in the development of the Muslim Denomination , as well as about the ways and possibilities to nominate for the award.

The meeting was closed with a dua (supplication) for health and welfare, made by the Regional Mufti Yudzhel Hyusnyu. The imams had the opportunity to make a group visit to the “Mirza Seit Pasha” mosque in Ruse after which for all of them was provided a treat.
