“Share your qurban” campaign of Grand Mufti’s Office begins in August

This year’s donation campaign of Grand Mufti’s Office of the Muslims in the Republic of Bulgaria for collecting qurbans will be carried out under the slogan “Share your qurban”. It will begin in the beginning of August and will continue until 25^th of August, 2017.

As every time this year Grand Mufti’s Office also provides the opportunity to all who want to authorise it to slaughter their qurban for the great feast of Qurban Bayram (Eid-ul-Adha) and to distribute it after that instead of them. The announced amount of one qurban for the campaign during the present year 2017 is 270 lv.

The meat from the slaughtered qurbans will be distributed to disadvantaged people, orphanages, elderly care homes, schools, soup kitchens and other on the territory of the country.

Everyone who want to join the donation campaign “Share your qurban” this year can get in contact with “Social” Department at Grand Mufti’s Office or to ask for information in the nearest regional mufti’s office.

We would like to recall that during the past year within the campaign and in partnership with private donors and charitable organizations were distributed more than 1700 qurbans.
