Regional Mufti’s Office – Aytos gave iftar for 150 people
On 30th of May, 2017 (Wednesday) Regional Mufti’s Office – Aytos gave an iftar dinner in a local restaurant. Invited for the traditional dinner were imams, representatives of Muslim boards of trustees from the region, diplomats and local businessmen. The guests numbered 150 people in total.
Among the official guests of the iftar were the Deputy Grand Mufti Ahmed Hasanov, the Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in Burgas Niyazi Evren Akyol, as well as guest-imams from Turkey, who are in Bulgaria on a three-month exchange programs.
All participants came together in the mosque of Aytos prior the evening prayer. There were delivered welcoming speeches on behalf of the host of the official iftar – the Regional Mufti of Aytos Selyatin Muharem, as well as by the Deputy Grand Mufti Ahmed Hasanov and the Consul General of Turkey Niyazi Akyol.
After performing the Maghrib prayer all guests went for the traditional Ramadan iftar dinner in the nearby restaurant.
