Grand Mufti – a host of iftar with representatives of diplomatic missions in Bulgaria

On the first day from the sacred for all Muslims month of Ramadan – 27^th of May, 2017 (Saturday) Grand Mufti’s Office gave an iftar in honor of the diplomatic corps in our country. It took place in the premises of the Muslim Denomination in the capital.

This year among the invited were the Ambassadors in Bulgaria of all Islamic and Arab countries, as well as the Ambassadors of France, Germany, The United Kingdom, Russia and United States.

To the invitation responded almost all invited diplomats. Due to absence from our country and other justifiable reasons some of the ambassadors sent their representatives.

The initiative of the Muslim Denomination in which representatives of different nationalities, people with different ethnicities, faiths and religions, come together at the table in the Ramadan evening to share the Daily, which is a symbol that embodies the union.

The traditional iftar with the diplomats is already a tradition for Grand Mufti’s Office and is given every year during the month of Ramadan.
