Groundbreaking in the village of Hitrino

On 19^th of May, 2017 was made a symbolic groundbreaking for the construction of 11 new houses in which will be accommodated the families who lost their homes during the accident in the village of Hitrino. The ceremony was attended by the Prime Minister Boyko Borisov, the Regional Governor of Shumen, Metropolitan Joan of Varna and Veliki Preslav and the Regional Mufti Mesut Mehmedov.

The Prime Minister thanked the Metropolitan Joan and the Regional Mufti Mr. Mehmedov, and noted that the ethnic tolerance is the only right and good thing. “To be able to live Muslims and Christians together, to love each other, to respect each other, to help each other, to construct, to build up, gives us strength to believe in good, in the edifice and the prosperity of the Republic of Bulgaria.”

10 of the houses will be grant reconstructed by big companies, members of the Bulgarian Construction Chamber, and the 11^th – with funds from political party GERB. The entire reconstruction of other 14 houses will begin within a month. It will be done with funds from the Social Ministry.

The homes of the people have to be completed till the end of the year.
