Regional Mufti’s Office of Plovdiv held a regular meeting with imams

Regional Mufti’s Office – Plovdiv held the regular meeting with the imams from the region on 23^rd of May this year (Tuesday). It took place in the premises of the Regional Mufti’s Office and was attended by 17 religious leaders from the region.

The meeting was opened with a recitation of some verses of Qur’an-i Kerim by the imam Mehmed Kyamil.

The agenda of the meeting included topics such as the campaign of the Muslim Denomination “Month of the Islamic Education”, the upcoming summer Qur’an courses for children in Plovdiv region and the participation of the imams in the workshops of the Muslim Denomination for the summer Qur’an courses.

The imams commented on their participation in the campaign for recruitment of candidate-students for the secondary religious schools in the country and for candidate-students for the High Islamic Institute for the school year 2017/2018.

On the occasion of the upcoming month of Ramadan and the arising from that novelties in the activities of the imams in the framework of the meeting were discusses issues related to the program for the Ramadan iftar dinners and the distribution of charity humanitarian packages. It was noted that orphans must have priority in the charity campaigns during the month of Ramadan.

One of the set objectives for Ramadan among the imams was in every mosque of the territory of the Mufti’s Office in Plovdiv to be read Mukabele.

The working meeting in Plovdiv was closed with a supplication (dua) made by Kyamil hodzha. He asked for baraqah for all Muslims and for the opportunity to spend fruitfully the holy month of Ramadan.
