Newly appointed Consul General of Turkey in Plovdiv visited Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali

Hussein Ergani, the newly appointed Consul General of the Republic of Turkey in the city of Plovdiv visited Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali. The visit was held on 8th of February (Wednesday) when Ergani was welcomed in Kardzhali by the Regional Mufti Beyhan Mehmed and his two deputies Erhan Redzheb and Nasuf Halil.

The Regional Mufti presented to his highly-esteemed guest the activities and the priorities of the Regional Mufti’s Office as well as the religious life of the Muslims in the region. In his turn the Consul General thanked for the hospitality and expressed hope for joint cooperation with the Mufti’s Office in Kardzhali in the field of the religious activities.

Hussein Ergani is born in 1973 in Erzurum. He took up his new post on 30th of January this year. As a Consul General of Turkey in Plovdiv Husein Ergani will be responsible for about 15 000 Turkish citizens residing in our country.
