Workshop for primary schooling students was held in Momchilgrad and Ustina

The mid-term break during the schooling year 2016/2017 was spent in a very good way by dozens of small Muslims in Bulgaria. Grand Mufti’s Office offered them the opportunity to join workshops, held within the period 4th – 8th of February, 2017.

One of the workshops took place in the town of Momchilgrad and was for girls who are primary schooling students. The girls were from the regions of regional mufti’s office of Kardzhali, Stara Zagora and Sliven and their total number was 18. The program of the workshop included four parts – ibadah, sira, akhlaq and aqidah. Besides the religious training activities for the participants in the workshop were organized hikes and entertaining and recreational activities.

Before leaving the children received official greetings and gifts personally by Beyhan Mehmed – Regional Mufti of Kardzhali and by other representatives of the Muslim Denomination in Bulgaria.

The workshop for boys was took place in the base of the training course for imams in the village of Ustina, Plovdiv region. It was attended by 25 students from the regions of regional mufti’s offices of Plovdiv, Sofia and Blagoevgrad. Like all other workshops for students this month that in Ustina also offered religious activities in ibadah, sira, akhlaq and aqidah. Parallel to the training program the young boys had the opportunity to entertain with sport activities. For all of them was organized a one-day excursion to the city of Plovdiv. The participants in the workshop visited the Old Town and were familiarized with its history.

On 8th of February the five-day workshops in Momchilgrad and in Ustina were officially closed.  All participants left with greetings and gifts presented to them on behalf of Grand Mufti’s Office. The children went back to their homes enriched with knowledge and the satisfaction that they managed to combine what is useful with pleasure.

Grand Mufti’s Office thanked them and wished them a lot of success during the second term of the schooling year 2016/2017.
