Workshop for hafizes and for students was held by Grand Mufti’s Office

 

Within the period 4th – 7th of February, 2017 Grand Mufti’s Office of the Muslims in Bulgaria held two religious workshops.

The first of them was held in “Gorna banya” hotel in the capital’s district Gorna banya. It was directed toward the hafizes, graduates of the training course for hafizes in the town of Madan, who were trained within the period from year 2000 till year 2016. Their total number is 32 people and the workshop was attended by 19 of them.

In the framework of the several-day event were delivered lectures by different lecturers from the High Islamic Institute and by employees of the Muslim Denomination. On 6th and 7th of February the participants in the workshop had the opportunity to visit the capital and to make a tour of the city. The hafizes visited the mosque “Banya Bashi”, NPC, the Museum of History. During their visit in Sofia the group also visited the Media and Culture Center and Grand Mufti’s Office where they listened lectures delivered by the Grand Mufti of Bulgaria Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi and by the Chairman of the Supreme Muslim Council Vedat Ahmed. It was focused on the topic related to the common responsibility that all have for the work with the Muslims in Bulgaria.

In the same period, between 4th and 7th of February, Grand Mufti’s Office held also a workshop for boys students in the town of Madan. The young boys who attended the workshop were from the regions of the regional mufti’s offices of Smolyan, Pazardzhik and Blagoevgrad. The total number of the children was 25. In the framework of the workshop they listened lectures in four directions – ibadah, sira, akhlaq and aqidah. Besides the serious part of the workshop for the young boys was also foreseen sports and entertaining program.

At the end of the two workshops – for hafizes in Gorna banya and for students in Madan, each of the participants left with a gift from Grand Mufti’s Office.
