Charity bazaar and a meeting with orphaned children organized Mufti’s Office in Kardzhali

Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali held two initiatives in the framework of the social campaign “Orphans’ week”, carried out by the Muslim Denomination.

On 25th of November was organized a meeting with orphaned children and their guardians from the region of Kardzhali. The meeting was also attended by representatives of Grand Mufti’s Office – the Deputy Grand Mufti Birali Birali and the expert from Social Department Bahri Izet.

Birali Birali held a speech in which he emphasized that “The earthly life is one test for all of us and we should show patience in the troubles that we face. The Muslims have to be as one family and to help in hardship”. He was happy to share that the social project for supporting orphans is one of the successful projects of the Muslim Denomination which is being implemented thanks to the common empathy. The Regional Mufti of Kardzhali expressed his satisfaction with the fact that the Muslims can not only in words but also in deeds to help their brothers and sisters. Before parting all children who attended the meeting were given gifts from Grand Mufti’s Office.

Presently Regional Mufti’s Office – Kardzhali supports 13 orphaned children and in this noble deed there are faithful partners in the face of the religious school in the town of Momchilgrad and the women from the Qur’an course in the town of Kardzhali.

At the same time with the meeting in Kardzhali was held another one initiative to support the children without parents from the region of Kardzhali. Sibel Mehmed – vaiz (preacher) at the mufti’s office organized a charity bazaar. It started prior the Friday prayer and continued till the afternoon (Asr) prayer. At the bazaar was offered a wide assortment of homemade sweets and salty pastries, handmade postcards and religious books.

The Muslims took an active part in the organized bazaar thanks to which the total raised amount from the sold things exceeds 700.00 leva.
