Grand Mufti’s Office organized a working meeting with the teachers from the religious schools and the High Islamic Institute

On 11^th of 12^th of November 2016 “Education” Department at Grand Mufti’s Office held a meeting with the teachers from the High Islamic Institute in Sofia and from the three religious schools in Ruse, Shumen and Momchilgrad. The meeting was held in the premises of the religious school in Momchilgrad.

It was attended by Vedat Ahmed – Chairman of the Supreme Muslim Council, the Deputy Grand Mufti Ahmed Hasanov, Akif Topuz – Deputy Rector of the High Islamic Institute, Hyusein Karamolla – Head of the Department of Education, the directors and the teachers in the three religious schools.

Within the meeting were discussed issues related to the education in the secondary schools and their needs, establishing a committee for preparation of a new curricular for the religious schools and afterwards – textbooks.

There was also held a meeting with an expert from “Curricula and content“ at MES – Kosta Kostov and Daniela Apostolova from Regional Inspectorate – Kardzhali. Within the meeting there was a presentation related to the psychological factor in communication with students, presented by Resim Shamatarev.

These meetings are important in terms of improving the quality and the development of the education and teambuilding. The participants in the meeting agreed that such kind of events have to be organized at least twice a year given the benefits they bring.
