Mufti’s Office in the capital launched “Orphans’ Week” with a workshop

Regional Mufti’s Office – Sofia gave the official start of this years’ campaign “Orphans’ week” with a one-day educational workshop. The event was attended by more than 45 men and women. It is a part of the series of events that will take place within 20^th and 27^th of November this year in the framework of “Orphans’ Week”. The social initiative is aimed at the most vulnerable part of the society, namely orphans.

In that thematically context were also the topics of the workshop with which was launched the campaign. The Deputy Grand Mufti of Bulgaria Birali Myumyun delivered a lecture on the topic “The challenge of being a parent”, and the Regional Mufti of Sofia Mustafa Izbishtali spoke on the topic: “Social activities of the mufti’s office – in particular orphans”.

At the end of the program the participants raised 402.00 leva (four hundred and two leva) for supporting “Orphans” Fund at Grand Mufti’s Office.

Regional Mufti’s Office – Sofia expresses heartfelt gratitude to all who took part in the initiative, to the main organizer Emine Sechkina – guide in the mosque in Sofia, and to all who financially and morally helped for having this good deed.
