Working meeting with the Mayor of Razgrad
A working meeting with the Mayor of Razgrad Dr. Valentin Vasilev was held on 28th of July, 2016. The Mayor received the Deputy Grand Mufti Birali Birali and the Regional Mufti of Razgrad Mehmed Alya. The aim of the meeting was cooperation of the municipality in marking of the 400th anniversary of the mosque “Makbul Ibrahim Pasha”.
In 2016 are completed 400 years since the construction of the mosque and this is an occasion to be initiated different events representing the architectural heritage. Initiator of the event is Prof. Lyubomir Mikov who proposed the idea in year 2015 during his presentation of one of his wonderful scientific researches, the book “The mosque of Ibrahim Pasha and “Ibrahim pasha” mosque in Razgrad”.
The program on the occasion of the marking of the anniversary includes a scientific pannel discussion photo exhibition and a concert.
The events are planned for the beginning of October this year.
