Working meeting with imams in Razgrad was held

Regional Mufti’s Office – Razgrad held a working meeting with some of the imams from the region. It took place in the mosque “Ahmed Bey” in the city.

The meeting began with a welcoming speech on behalf of the Regional Mufti Mehmed Alya and recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an by Eyb Halilov – imam of the village of Veselina. The program of the meeting continued with the participation of Alper Zyulkyufl, imam of the town of Kubrat, who delivered a lecture related to the Islamic education. During the working meeting were discussed topics related to the launched from Grand Mufti’s Office National Charity Campaign for supporting “Islamic Education” Fund, for the period 28^th of June – 4^th of July, 2016.

Within the meeting were also discussed the programs for celebration the Night of Qadr and then the preparation for the performance of the Eid prayer, for which all imams received khutbas (sermons). During the working meeting was discussed and the issues related to the summer Qur’an courses and their preparation, where for the imams were prepared and given folders including a program, list of participants and a list for memorization. Some other current topics were addressed as well. At the end of the meeting the Regional Mufti thanked all imams for their diligence and efforts which they make in their daily work. Similar working meetings are foreseen to be held also in the towns of Kubrat and Isperih. The meeting ended with a dua (supplication) for prosperity and welfare.
