At a Council of Muftis held on 28th of March (Monday) was made an analysis of the held social campaign “Orphans’ week” 2015, and also a financial analysis of the received donations for this cause by settlements was done. By a decision of the Committee on Social activities at the Supreme Muslim Council the first five mufti’s offices that showed highest activity in the campaign for supporting orphaned children were awarded. They were given plaques of gratitude. The Committee made a decision to give plaques of gratitude also to all Muslim boards of trustees that raised more than 500 leva support for orphans.
The Grand Mufti of the country Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi expressed his gratitude to the muftis for their efforts and diligence during “Orphans’ week”. He gave the prizes to the regional muftis of the five mufti’s offices as follows:
1. Nedzhmi Dabov/ Regional Mufti’s Office - Smolyan 14 346.00 leva
2. Aydan Muhammed/ Regional Mufti’s Office - Blagoevgrad 14 171.70 leva
3. Mustafa Izbishtali/ Regional Mufti’s Office – Sofia 11 255.00 leva
4. Salyahattin Muharrem/ Regional Mufti’s Office - Aytos 9 205.00 leva
5. Abdullah Salih/ Regional Mufti’s Office – Pazardzhik 6 339.15 leva
The plaques of the awarded boards of trustees in the country will be given by the relevant regional muftis in the settlements. The boards of trustees which raised donations for orphaned children in a size higher than 500 leva, are:
