Students from SS “P.R. Slaveykov” – Kardzhali visited the central mosque in the city
Students from the biggest school in Kardzhali region visited the central mosque in the city. The visit took place on 30th of March, 2016 from 14:30 o’clock. The ninth grade students were accompanied by the teacher in literature Mrs. Lapleva. The group was welcomed by the Regional Mufti Beyhan Mehmed who informed it about the basics and the specifics of Islam and the place of the mosque in religion. The students were very interested to see the main places in the prayer house and at the end they thanked for the showed hospitality. When leaving the Muslim temple the students received as gifts a copy of the March edition of the “Muslims” magazine.
