MRF Co-President M. Karadayi greeted the newly elected SMC Chairman

The Co-President of the Movement for Rights and Freedoms Mustafa Karadayi visited the newly elected Chairman of the Supreme Muslim Council Vedat S. Ahmed on 10^th of February. During the meeting which was held in Grand Mufti’s Office, Mr. Karadayi greeted the SMC Chairman on the occasion of his election at the National Muslim Conference as well as of the received registration by the Sofia City Court that registered the will of the Muslim community in Bulgaria.

The Co-President of MRF wished successes in the religious affairs which aim to build a better society. He expressed his esteem and respect to the century-old religious institution and stated his readiness to provide assistance with regard to the topics which are in the framework of his legitimate possibilities of the political formation represented by him. 

SMC Chairman Mr. Ahmed expressed his satisfaction with the visit after which he stressed on the importance of Islam and of the institution Muslim Denomination in the life of the Muslims in Bulgaria and the preservation of their identity which requires protection of the religious institution from political influence as well as from interfering of the Denomination in the political affairs.
