Social Affairs Attaché at the Turkish Embassy met with SMC Chairman

The Chairman of the Supreme Muslim Council Vedat S. Ahmed received the social affairs attaché at the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey Dr. Ulvi Ata on 9^th of February. The meeting was held in Grand Mufti’s Office and is on the occasion of the election of Mr. Ahmed as a Chairman of the collective body of the Muslim Denomination. Dr. Ata greeted the SMC Chairman on the occasion of his election and wished successful and beneficial activity as well as good cooperation with the institution represented by him. Along with this he forwarded the best wishes and the greeting address of the President of the Diyanet of Turkey Prof. Dr. Mehmed Görmez.

SMC Chairman expressed his gratitude to the attaché and stated his willingness for a better cooperation in the fields which intersect the objectives of the institutions represented by them.

During the meeting Dr. Ata gave his host a specially crafted work of the calligraphic art with the text “Hu” (He), decorated with exquisite motives of the art of “tazhib”.
