One-week workshop for boys was held in Rudozem

A workshop for boys from eight to twelfth gradewas heldfrom 1st till 5th of February in the training base of the central mosque in the town of Rudozem. The workshop, which was organized by Grand Mufti’s Office, was attended by 30 boys from Smolyan region. For their short stay the youths received basic knowledge on the Islamic religion, the life of the Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), moral and ethics in Islam, and learned to read correctly some parts of the Qur’an. And the sport-technical bases in the town helped the children to build among them social and friendly relations through the daily sport and entertaining programs which were organized by their teachers – the imams of the town of Rudozem Hayri Sherifov and Vahdi Delihusev and the imam of the village of Borovina – Mehmed Selimehmedov.

There was a great interest on behalf of the students in the workshop who actively joined the discussions on problems of the day and current topics of our times, which affect them as developing personalities in the society.

At the end of the workshop the boys received gifts on behalf of Grand Mufti’s Office for their efforts and diligence.
