Grand Mufti’s Office organize pilgrimage of Umrah

The Committee on Hajj and Umrah organization, which was elected on 4^th of February, 2016 held its first session the same day.

With the participation of all members of the Committee in the session, held at the premises of Grand Mufti’s Office, were discussed issues related to the organization of Hajj and Umrah in 2016. Based on the discussions held the Committee unanimously decided to be organized a pilgrimage of Umrah in March 2016. In calculating the price is taken into consideration the difference in the currency exchange rates and based on this the price of 1250 EUR from the past year is increased by 50 EUR. Therefore the full package of the Umrah is decided to be 1300 EUR. It includes traveling from Bulgaria to Istanbul by bus and from Istanbul to Saudi Arabia by plane and return the same way, two-week stay, hotel, meals, visits to the holy lands, visas and others.

Since the pilgrimage is going to be organized for the middle of March, the applications will be accepted till 29^th of February.

During the session were also discussed issues related to the preliminary organization of Hajj 2016 for which the Muslim community will be informed in nearest time.
