Competition within the year-round course for girls in Kardzhali was held
A competition between children from the Qur’an course for girls in the city of Kardzhali was held on 2nd of January, 2016 (Saturday) from 14:00 o’clock. The girls competed in several fields, namely – basic knowledge in Islam, the suwar (chapters of the Qur’an) for prayer and memorization of surah Ya-Sin. The jury of the competition was composed by Avni Tahir and Erdinch Hayrullah – imams of the central mosque of the city of Kardzhali. It was difficult for the respected jury to define the winners because all children showed enviable knowledge. In the end three children fell in the top three. At first place was ranked Kader Hyuseiyn, at second – Fehime Ramadan, and at third place – Narbeaz Ilyaz. The Regional Mufti Beyhan Mehmed provided gifts for the children – tablets and books for the first and the second place and a bag for Hajj for the third place.
The gifts were given to the winning children by Sibel Mehmed – Head of the Qur’an course.
