Supreme Muslim Council held its regular session in the Old city of Vidin
The Supreme Muslim Council (SMC) held its regular session in the Old City of Vidin on 4th of November, this year, host of which was the Regional Mufti of Montana Nedzhati Ali. The meeting began with artistic recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an in the presence of 2/3 of the members of the SMC and under the chairmanship of the Chairman Vedat S. Ahmed.
“This team achieved results which have not been achieved until now. There are things which we could not improve, such as to have more accurate discipline of work”, said the Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi during his speech to the members of SMC. According to him the timely assessment of the positive and the negative sides would help us to increase our efficiency in service of the Muslims in the country.
“The positions which you occupy are not end in itself, but they are in the same time blessing and a test from the Almighty”, further said the Grand Mufti. According to him the activities of the Denomination would be most effective when all employees in the system have the clear consciousness that they are of service of the society.
“Only in this way we will have success. The people have entrusted us one institution which we have to manage with dignity” added the Grand mufti.
The Chairman adopted the reports of the SMC members and regional muftis for the campaign for qurbans 2015 and represented a report for the performance of the pilgrimage of Hajj this year.
