Mufti of Pleven took part in the festive program of the town of Nikopol

The Regional Mufti of Pleven Hadzhi Nidzhatin Mustafov attended the traditional opening of the feast of the town of Nikopol. His participation was at the invitation of the Mayor of the town Emil Bebenov. The event was organized from the Municipality of Nikopol and the feast was attended by mayors of neighboring municipalities, MPs from the region, representatives of the Orthodox Church, as well as by the Deputy Mayor of the Romanian city Turnu Magurele. In his speech Bebenov said that Nikopol is an example for tolerance and co-existence of Muslims and Christians regardless the fact to which religion or ethnical group they belong.
In his address the Regional Mufti of Pleven congratulated the Mayor and the residents of the town of Nikopol for their feast and thanked for the invitation. He confirmed that the municipality and municipal administration works with all their residents and cooperate with all communities in the region.
In the end, together with Father Valentine and Father Boris, the Regional Mufti joined a common supplication for the prosperity and the welfare of the population in the Municipality of Nikopol.
