Working meeting with imams from Razgrad region was held

A working meeting with some of the imams from the region was held in Razgrad. It took place on 18th of August, 2015 in the “Ahmed Bey” mosque in the city. The meeting began with welcoming speech on behalf of the Regional Mufti Mehmed Alya and recitation of verses from the Holy Qur’an from Hamdi Nazir, imam of the village of Mortogonovo. In his speech the Regional Mufti made reported briefly on the activities of the regional mufti’s office, the ongoing summer Qur’an courses in the different settlements were analyzed. The topic related to the organization and the preparation of the Regional competition on Basic knowledge in Islam, which this year will be held on 27th of August from 10:30 o’clock in the mosque “Ryustemler” in the city of Isperih, was also discussed.
Main focus of the meeting was the issue regarding the recruitment of students for the Secondary religious school in the city of Ruse, in connection with which among the participants in the meeting was also Syuleyman Ismail, Director of SRS – Ruse.
In his speech he informed the attending imams about the opportunities which the school, headed by him, provides during the meeting a schedule for visits of the settlements in the municipality for recruiting students for SRS – Ruse was prepared. The working meeting was closed with a common dua (supplication).
