Grand Mufti’s Office organized summer school for students in Turkey

Educational Department of Grand Mufti’s Office this year again organized a summer school for students – youths in Turkey. The training will continue about three weeks. More than 200 children from throughout the country are going to participate in it. They will attend religious and cultural programs in different cities – Istanbul, Bursa, Tekirdağ, Konya and others.
During their stay the children will receive religious knowledge; they will participate in sport events and will visit and learn about cultural, historical and religious centers and sites. They will also represent the culture of the Muslim-Turkish community in Bulgaria.
Each of the groups is led by tutors who are selected among those who graduated Higher Islamic education, the students from HII and the more active imams.
The students who form the group from Northeastern Bulgaria gathered on 26th of July in front of Tombul Mosque in the city of Shumen and in the presence of representatives of Grand Mufti’s Office and the regional muftis sat off for neighboring Turkey.
