Imam Shyukryu Topalov from the village of Malevo passed away

During the holy month of Ramadan after heart surgery intervention and illness of one year the famous in Haskovo region Shyukryu Kadirov Topalov – imam of the village of Krivo pole passed away on 9th of July, 2015.
He was born on 3rd of October, 1941 in the town of Madan.
Since he was a child he began to learn Qur`an with the famous Hafiz Ahmed Gerchekov, but during the period of the forced change of names his family emigrated to the village of Belentsi, Razgrad region. During his entire stay in Razgrad region he was actively working for teaching the children in Muslim religion.
When he was 37 years old his family permanently settles in the village of Malevo, Haskovo region. His father Kadir Topalov began working as imam of the village and Shyukryu – as his assistant.
He was teaching children and also was working in the field of construction. He was known as honest, fair and good Muslim.
In 2009 he began working as imam of the village of Krivo pole, Haskovo municipality. He was actively involved and has great merits in the construction of the mosque in the village of Malevo.
