A protocol meeting between the Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi and the new Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Pakistan to Bulgaria Her Excellency Mrs. Maryam Aftab was held on October 15 at Grand Mufti’s Office. Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi highlighted that Pakistan has an important place and role in the Islamic world. In her turn the Ambassador expressed hope that the Muslim Denomination in Bulgaria will also provide its support for the establishment and strengthening the relations between Bulgaria and Pakistan. During the meeting the two parties reaffirmed the friendly relations between the Muslim Denomination and the Embassy of Pakistan in Bulgaria and expressed their desire to continue the dialogue of cooperation in the inter-faith and cultural relations.
