During the difficult times of the pandemic, the annual contest of the Muslim Denomination “The Mosque in My Life” this year attracted a record number of participants from the Muslim community of 13 regional mufti’s offices.
The young Muslims took on the challenge to show their talents and skills in three age groups and in the following three categories of the competition” drawing – poem – essay.
In the last year’s edition of the contest participated 59 children and youths. This year interest to compete in drawing showed 146 participants, and in essay writing there were 29 participants, while skills in writing poem showed 17 participants.
“The aim of the contest is the young Muslims to understand that art is an opportunity to embody the religious values and it is a connection with the human soul. I would like to express my gratitude for the diligent work of the regional mufti’s offices and all heads of the summer Qur’an courses for the shown perseverance, without them the contest would not have been implemented in these parameters.” – shared for Grandmufti.bg the Deputy Grand Mufti Birali Myumyun Birali.
Due to the great interest in the contest, the expert jury, after detailed discussions, made the following ranking of the participants:

Every participant in the annual contest “The Mosque in My Life” will receive a certificate for his/her participation, and the winners in the relevant categories will receive prizes at a different amount according to the place on which they ranked:
1st place: 150.00 BGN
2nd place: 100.00 BGN
3rd place: 50.00 BGN
The organizers of “The Mosque in My Life” 2020 contest will get in contact with each of the winners to discuss how the prizes will be received.
