Regional Mufti’s Office – Sliven held a one-day workshop with the imams and the teachers in the summer Qur’an courses from the region on June 25 (Thursday) this year. The occasion was their upcoming beginning from July 1 this year.
The workshop was held under the chairmanship of the Regional Mufti Akif Akifov, who as a host welcomed all participants and informed them about the agenda of the working meeting. Akifov expressed his satisfaction with the activity of Regional Mufti’s Office – Sliven during the campaign support of the Islamic education during the last month of Ramadan. The focus in the program of the workshop was on the need of enhanced preparation for the upcoming summer Qur’an courses, and there were also discussed the places for holding them, the planned program, the training materials, etc. as a coordinator of the summer Qur’an courses in the region of Sliven Sali Ismailov informed his colleagues imams and teachers about the necessity of strict observance of the epidemic measures, specified by Grand Mufti’s Office, for safe holding of the courses. according to Ismailov it is expected that in the region of Regional Mufti’s Office – Sliven to be organized minimum of 10 summer Qur’an courses for children this summer.
