On May 12 (Tuesday) this year Regional Mufti’s Office – Targovishte began the distribution of humanitarian packages to orphaned children. The 80 food packages were donated from the Turkish organization TIKA (Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency) through the of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Sofia. The packages are distributed to needy children without parents with the assistance of Grand Mufti’s Office and its regional divisions. In Targovishte District yesterday the aids were distributed personally by the Regional Mufti Nazif Rasimov and his team. They will continue to distribute the food packages also in the coming days.

Regional Mufti’s Office – Targovishte received as a donation from the Turkish embassy in our country also protective clothing and safety equipment for the imams from the region who have to work in the conditions of the global COVID-19 pandemic.

Since the beginning of the month of Ramadan the mufti’s office in Targovishte has been distributing also packages with dates to the local people, received also as a donation through Grand Mufti’s Office in our country from one of the embassies of the Muslim countries in the capital.
