Regional Mufti’s Office – Varna received a donation of special safety clothing, safety helmets, masks and disinfectants. The donation was made on April 10 (Friday) this year in the premises of Regional Mufti’s Office – Varna from the local councilors Ryuyan Rizov and Sali Tabakov.

“On behalf of Regional Mufti’s Office – Varna I express my best wishes to the donors. We do appreciate their donation as one very good gesture in view of the current emergency situation. The donated clothing and protective accessories will be extremely helpful for the protection of the health of our staff, who are at frontline in the situation of the pandemic and continue to respond to he needs of the local Muslim population.” – commented for Grandmufti.bg the Secretary of the mufti’s office in Varna Fahredin Mollamehmed.

According to him the donated protective clothing and materials will be used in the work of the local clerics – imams, who perform the funeral rites for the deceased Muslims form the region.

“It is a fact that at the present moment we urgently needed such protective clothing and accessories.” – Mollamehmed further added.
