Welcoming the three blessed months was among the focuses of a meeting of Regional Mufti’s Office - Plovdiv
Regional Mufti’s Office – Plovdiv held its regular monthly meeting with the imams from the region which was also the first one for the current year, 2020. It took place on February 13 (Thursday) this year.
The agenda of the held working meeting included a discussion on the results of the held by Grand Mufti’s Office “Orphans’ Week” social campaign at the end of the last year, as well as the Hajj 2020 campaign of the Muslim Denomination. One of the focuses during the meeting was the preparation for welcoming and the activities of the Regional Mufti’s Office during the upcoming blessed months of Rajab, Shaban and Ramadan.
“We have planned to organize a festive celebration of the sacred nights of Raghaeb, Miʿraj and Bara’at in some settlements in the area of Regional Mufti’s Office. We also discussed that during the month of Ramadan each of the imams preliminary to inform the management of Regional Mufti’s Office for the larger iftar-dinners which will be organized so that we would be able to participate as representatives of the local structure of the Muslim Denomination” – the Regional Mufti of Plovdiv also said.
During the meeting the host Taner Veli informed the imams about the issued order of Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi related to the implementation of the budget of the Muslim Denomination for 2020.
“The order requires from the regional muftis to organize through he Muslim boards of trustees monthly raising of funds for filling the budget of the Denomination and the payment for the salaries of the imams” – Taner Veli commented for Grandmufti.bg.
He said that this Friday, in Plovdiv for sixth consecutive year will take place the initiative “Coffee of Tolerance”, which will bring together representatives of different religious and ethnic communities in Plovdiv. It is expected among the guests of the event to participate also the Grand Mufti of the Muslims in the Republic of Bulgaria Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi.
