Women from the Muslim community in the region of Targovishte visited the “Ahmed Bey” mosque in Razgrad 

A group of nearly 50 women form the Muslim community in Targovishte region participated in an organized visit to the “Ahmed Bey” mosque in Razgrad. During their visit, which took place on January 23 (Thursday) this year, the group was accompanied by Gyulshen Ahmedova – vaiz (preacher) at the Muslim Denomination.

The guests were welcomed in the mosque of Razgrad by the Regional Mufti Mehmed Alya, the imam of the mosque Shakir Ahmedchikov and a group of women from the local Muslim community. Alya informed the visitors about the history of the mosque, and the imam Shakir Ahmedchikov delivered a lecture dedicated on the foundations of faith.

Then the group had the opportunity to continue its joint program with recitation of verses from Qur’an-i Kerim, performances of religious songs (ilyahi) and religious talk.
