The management of Regional Mufti’s Office – Varna held a meeting with the Director of the Regional Office of State Fund Agriculture in Varna Ayrie Ibryamova 

The Regional Mufti of Varna Nuray Shukri and the expert from “Waqf” Department at the mufti’s office in Varna lawyer Sezay Cholakov held a meeting with the Director of Regional Office Agriculture in the maritime capital Ayrie Ibryamova. The meeting took place on January 23 (Thursday), 2020 at the initiative of the local mufti’s office.

During the meeting were discussed the cases with all settlements in Varna District in the scope of which there are waqf property with status of agricultural land, but they have not received “white spots” so far and it is necessary to do studies of the local area. There were also addressed the problematic cases with the waqf estates for which there are other contracts concluded on behalf of relevant boards of trustees without going through the due and legal way – through the Muslim Denomination.

“We sought assistance on behalf of the regional administration for solving the problematic cases and for implementation of the studies in the cases where it is necessary.” – commented for Grandmufti.bg lawyer Sezay Cholakov from Regional Mufti’s Office – Varna and added that the management of the Regional Office of State Fund Agriculture in the person of Ayrie Ibryamova expressed willingness for assistance and help in the joint work on the specific issues.

During the meeting the two parties discussed also several side issues such as the possibility for performing the pilgrimage of Hajj and Umrah with the organization of Grand Mufti’s Office, and the guest Shukri invited Ibryamova to implement this act of worship with the Grand Mufti’s Office in our country.

Before leaving the Mufti of Varna Nuray Shukri presented a gift on behalf of Regional Mufti’s Office – Varna to Director Ayrie Ibryamova– the luxury edition of the Holy Qur’an, the last issue of “Muslims” magazine and the yearly calendar of the Muslim Denomination in Bulgaria.
