Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi was an official guests of the working meeting with imams from Razgrad region
Regional Mufti’s Office – Razgrad held a meeting with the young imams from the entire Razgrad region on January 18 (Saturday), 2020. The meeting was held in the conference hall of “Karton” Hotel in the town of Razgrad.
Official guests of the working meeting were the Grand Mufti of the Republic of Bulgaria Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi and the regional muftis of Shumen, Silistra and Targovishte, respectively Mesut Mehmed, Myuddesir Mehmed and Nazif Rasimov.
The Regional Mufti of Razgrad and host of the event Mehmed Alya welcomed the guests and the imams and informed them about the agenda of the meeting. Main focus in it was the report of the activities of the Regional Mufti’s Office – Razgrad. The imam of the village of Vazovo Oktay Bilgin delivered a brief lecture on “One verse and one hadith” related to the upcoming sacred months.
In his speech to the imams the Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi focused on the vision for the development of the Muslim community, analysis on the current issues, related to it, as well as the situation of the community during the recent years. As a priority topic in his vision for the future development of the Muslim community the spiritual leader highlighted the role of the imams and urged towards getting closer to people and especially to the younger generation, which has to be re-behaved in the Islamic values.
The imams who participated in the meeting took and active part in the discussions. Statements were made by the imams of the settlements of Podayva, Ezerche, Mortogonovo, Kubrat and others.
Greeting to the imams were also delivered on behalf of the regional muftis of Shumen, Silistra and Targovishte.
At the end of the meeting the Regional Mufti of Razgrad thanked all imams for their diligence and efforts in their daily work. The event was officially closed with dua (supplication), made by a guest-imam from the Republic of Turkey.
