Delegation from the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities at the Turkish Council of Ministers visited Grand Mufti’s Office

A delegation from the Republic of Turkey led by the Deputy Head of the Presidency for Turks Abroad and Related Communities at the Council of Ministers of Turkey Sayit Yusuf, visited Grand Mufti’s Office on January 16 (Thursday), 2020. The guests were welcomed by the Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi and by representatives of the management of the Denomination. The meeting was also attended by representatives of the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey in Bulgaria.

An occasion of the visit of the Turkish delegation was the presentation of scholarship program “Türkiye Bursları” in the framework of which the Republic of Turkey provides scholarship to foreign students in the Turkish educational institutions for 2020/2021 academic year.

Since 2011 the Republic of Turkey has been granting scholarships for thousands of foreign students, regardless of their nationality, ethnicity and religion. The students have the opportunity to study in the desired by them university and field by submitting application documents online within the period specified.

For this year the online applications for foreign students willing to study in the Republic of Turkey, are within the period from January 10 till February 20, 2020. On this occasion during the next days the scholarship program for foreign students will be officially presented also in different educational institutions in our country.
