Meeting of NCRCB with Religious Denominations and Human Rights Committee

The members of the National Council of Religious Communities in Bulgaria met with the Religious Denominations and Human Rights Committee at the National Assembly, represented by its chairperson Krasimir Velchev, the deputy chairpersons Evgeniya Aleksieva and Vasil Antonov. This was the first meeting of the National Council with the new members of the Committee of the 43rd National Assembly, which was held in business and cordial tone. The problems related to the status of the religious denominations, the main difficulties which they face and the ways for overcoming them were discussed within the meeting. Both the sides expressed readiness to work for upgrading the relations both of the separate denominations and those of the Council and the Committee.
