Annual workshop meeting for employees from the Muslim Denomination was held in Shumen

The traditional annual workshop meeting for the employees of the Muslim Denomination for 2019 was held on December 21 and 22 this year, and once again host of the event was Religious School “Nyuvvab” in the city of Shumen.

The program was officially opened on Saturday by the Grand Mufti of the Muslims in the Republic of Bulgaria Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi. Welcoming speech to all participants was delivered also by the Chairman of the Supreme Muslim Council Vedat Ahmed, who called upon his colleagues from the entire country to try to maintain their sincerity and openness in their activities.

The program included presentation of the annual reports on the activities of the departments at Grand Mufti’s Office, as well as on the work during the past year, 2019, of all 20 regional mufti’s offices.

The grand Mufti delivered a lecture on collectiveness, the team work and the development of the Muslim Denomination, and gave comparative examples from the past and the present of the institution. Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi called upon all employees of the Denomination for a greater activeness. The imam of the mosque in Karlovo Kemal Rashid participated in the program presenting the topic on “Benefits and Harm of Internet”.

The annual workshop was closed with a dua (supplication) for health, prosperity and fruitful work during the upcoming year, 2020.
