Regional Mufti of Ruse participated in a working lunch at the invitation of the Mayor of the Municipality of Slivo pole Valentin Atanasov

At the invitation of the Mayor of the Municipality of Slivo pole (Ruse District) Valentin Atanasov, a working lunch with imams and chairmen of Muslim boards of trustees from the municipality took place on December 18 (Wednesday), 2019. The meeting was also attended by the Deputy Mayor Mihail Chilikov, the Regional Mufti of Ruse Yudzhel Hyusnyu and the “Awqaf” expert at the mufti’s office in Ruse Nedzhmetin Nedzhmiev.

At the beginning of the meeting the Mayor welcomed all participants and expressed gratitude for responding to his invitation. In his address to the guests he focused on the importance of the good bilateral relations between the different ethnic and religious groups and highlighted that he is ready to help for topics related to the welfare and the well-being of the society. In his turn, the Regional Mufti of Ruse expressed his gratitude to the Mayor of the town for the respect, expressed towards the representatives of the Muslim Denomination in the Municipality of Slivo pole and for the good cooperation between the two institutions.

Before leaving the two managers exchanged gifts, and gifts were also given to the guests of the Mayor.

The Regional Mufti Yudzhel Hyusnyu wished the Mayor Valentin Atanasov and his deputy happy celebration of the Christmas and New Year holidays and successful managing mandate.
