Students from RS – Momchilgrad reported their contribution to the “Orphans’ Week” campaign in Regional Mufti’s Office - Kardzhali

For another year the students from Religious School – Momchilgrad, with the assistance and the support of the management of the school, showed a great activity during the social campaign of the Muslim Denomination “Orphans’ Week” 2019. They organized for the initiative a charity bazaar in the school, where were offered homemade sweets and food, treats and beverages, religious literature, as well as handmade souvenirs and other items. As a result of this initiative and from donations made by the Mayor of the Municipality of Momchilgrad and other mayors of settlements in the region the youths managed to collect for the initiative the amount of 2 555.00 BGN

On December 11 (Wednesday) this year the Director of RS – Momchilgrad and a group of students from the school held a meeting with the Regional Mufti of Kardzhali Beyhan Mehmed, during which they officially gave the raised funds as their contribution to the held “Orphans’ Week” campaign.

On behalf of Regional Mufti’s office in Kardzhali Beyhan Mehmed thanked the students and the management of the religious school for the shown activity and initiative during this year’s campaign in support of the orphans.

“On behalf of our school we express heartfelt gratitude to the businessmen in the town and to the municipal administration for their support. May Allah be pleased with everyone!” – the students from RS – Momchilgrad expressed their gratitude.
