Grand Mufti hosted an official dinner with Turkish Ambassador

The Grand Mufti Dr. Mustafa Hadzhi hosted and official dinner in honor of the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Sofia H.E. Süleyman Gökçe. It was held at the Grand Mufti’s Office at the invitation of the Grand Mufti.
The diplomat and the religious leader discussed current topics related to the capacity and the problems of the Muslims in the country, as well as the socio-cultural life. Pressing issues like that with the project for Islamic cultural and educational centre the capital also were among the topic of the conversation. It became clear that the project has not advanced and there are no indications that this will happen soon.
The host and the guest discussed also the possible areas for joint cooperation such as the educational and cultural exchange.
