Another one meeting in the framework of this year’s campaign “orphans’ Week”, which takes place between November 25 and December 1, was organized on November 27 (Wednesday) in Yablanovo (Municipality of Kotel, Sliven region). Host of the meeting was the Mufti of Regional Mufti’s Office – Sliven Akif Akifov.

It was also attended by representatives of Grand Mufti’s Office in Sofia – the Deputy Grand Mufti Birali Myumyun, the expert from the Social Department Dzhafer Isov and the expert from the Department of Media and Culture Seyhan Mehmed. 9 from 11 orphaned children in total from the region of Sliven, who receive monthly assistance from the Muslim Denomination, attended the held meeting. They were accompanied by a parent or a guardian.

“During the meeting we talk with the children and the parents and guardians, accompanying them, for their situation, for their education in school, for the problems and the challenges which they face every day. We asked them what they need, and made them feel more comfortable to share their concerns and anxieties”, said for Grandmufti.bg the secretary of the mufti’s office in Sliven Sali Ismailov in connection with the held meeting in Yablanovo.

Before parting all orphaned children, who are at the age up to 14-year-old, received gifts both on behalf of Regional Mufti’s Office, and on behalf of Grand Mufti’s Office.
