A meeting with children without parents from the region of Shumen was held in the framework of “Orphans’ Week” 2019

One of the series of meetings with orphans, organized within the ongoing throughout the country national campaign “Orphans’ Week”, was held yesterday, November 26” in the city of Shumen. Host of the meeting was Religious School “Nyuvvab” in the city.

Official guests from Grand Mufti’s Office were the Deputy Grand Mufti Birali Myumyun, who is in charge of the social activities of the Muslim Denomination, as well as the experts from the Social Department and the Department on Media and Culture, respectively Dzhafer Isov and Seyhan Mehmed.

During the meeting held in Shumen the children and the accompanying them parents or guardians had the opportunity to get to know each other, as well as to officially get to know to the representatives of Grand Mufti’s Office. There were discussed different issues about the life of the children without parents and the difficulties which they face every day. Due to the fact that the meeting was held in the religious school in Shumen, the orphans had the opportunity to learn more about it and the base of the school and the offered religious education in it.

“On the occasion of “orphans’ Week” are organized meeting with orphans at the relevant mufti’s offices, which gave an opportunity to the children to get to know each other and with their families. The aim of these meetings is to give an opportunity to share the problems and the difficulties of the orphaned children” – the Deputy Grand Mufti Birali Myumyun said for Grandmufti.bg

He also said that after the meetings with orphans in Targovishte and Shumen from the beginning of this year’s “Orphans’ Week” it is foreseen to hold meeting also with the children without parents in Yablanovo (Regional Mufti’s Office – Smolyan) and in Haskovo (Regional Mufti’s Office – Haskovo), who are supported by the Muslim Denominations.
